Rene: Grins and gets ready for the whistle. When it blows, I get into dodge mode, avoiding any ball that comes near me.

(Rene avoiding balls... why does that seem a little out of character? XD

Rene also is rather the avoiding type, not good at catching or throwing.

I look at Rene, the ball in my hands "so, just to see if I got the rules. When you catch this thing, I am out, and when I hit you, you are out. and when you doge, you get a chance to throw it. is that correct?"

Rene: I burst out laughing, lowering my head as the ball flies over my head. After it bounces off the wall, I pick it up. "I guess it's my turn." I size up Rene, knowing I can't throw. Finally, I make a girly toss, hoping it'll hit the mark.

~when I catch, she is out. to catch, I have to get close to the ball. when I get close to the ball and fail catching, I am out. I am better at throwing, than at catching and she doesn't catch that well~ and so I dodge, pick it up, and throw it.

Rene: Squeals, turning, trying to dodge, but the ball ends up hitting me on my back. I'm out and the game is over. I go over to the other, hugging him. "Good game."

Rene: I blush. The teacher blows the whistle, ending class so we can go change. "Next up is lunch, let's hurry." I scamper off to the girls' locker room to get changed.

(Interesting note, never in my school life was it a requirement for the girls to shower after gym class. The girls just toweled the sweat, away, put on fresh powder and perfume and went on about their day. Don't know about the boys, though, obviously."

(hm, luckily we weren't forced to shower. one teacher told us to, but it wasn't really being forced. it was rather a request without the word "please")

I blush even more as I go to the boys locker room where I obviously need some time. my hair is ruined and I stink. I decide to ask the teacher if I could borrow a towel.

Rene: I dry off, change, make myself smell nice, and girl myself up. When done, I wait by the boys' locker room for the other to appear.

I return with the towel and go to take a shower, like some others. I try to ignore them as good as I can, even though they are staring. after I am done I comb my hair, put a little bit of makeup on, earn even more staring and leave the locker room.

Rene: I walk to the cafeteria, arm in arm with the other. "Trays are over here." I lead him over, picking up a tray to grab my lunch. "Hot dogs and tater tots... hmm, not exciting, but it's still food."

(If you don't know what tater tots are, they can also be known as tater gems. Hot dogs are similar to sausages, but smaller and no casing. The hot dogs are served on a bun.)

(I'm trying to think... it's been so long since I've been to school. I think, NOW there might be a law requiring offering additional fruit or vegetables to any students that want it, but I don't know. I quit taking school lunch after 8th grade. From what I remember it was always crappy food, anyway. On the same level with Hospital food.)

Rene: At the end of the row, I grab a pint of chocolate milk, putting it on my tray. I pause in the doorway, waiting for the other to finish getting his lunch.

(Laws in this country might have changed since I was in school. Of course schools in this country are so under-funded, they have to make cuts somewhere... it wouldn't surprise me that the lunchroom is one of the first places they cut the budget.)

Rene: I giggle, then look to find a table somewhere. "Ah, there's a spot." I take my tray over to the table.
