"Oh very well." Waltz set Melody and then Harmony down on the floor, then stood up. He hesitated, not sure what he was supposed to do next.

Waltz picked her up and let her ride on his shoulders, not understanding exactly what she wanted but remembering how some of the servants would do that when he was that young.

Melody: Raises my arms, "WHEEE!" Waltz's big crown falling off my head as I'm bouncing around.

Fugue: Returns to where Waltz is, forcibly, suppressing a grin at seeing Waltz skip around the room, carrying Melody on his shoulders. I go over to Harmony, picking her up and rescuing Waltz's crown from her teeth. "Waltz-sama."

Waltz stopped and turned around when he heard Fugue's voice. "Er...How much did you see, Fugue-san?" He asked.

Harmony fussed a little, trying to get the crown back.

Melody: Bonks Waltz on the head with my hand, wanting him to continue being horsey.

Fugue: Is trying really hard NOT to laugh. "I saw nothing, Waltz-sama." I put Waltz's Crown on a table, then I pick up Harmody, trying to comfort her fussing. "No, Harmony, Godfather's Crown."

"Ah might as well let her have it. It's already ripped a little from when she and Melody played tug of war with it. I can always have a new one made."

(Video game physics keep his crown from falling of when you fight him but that doesn't mean it can't come off. lol)

Fugue: "If you like, sire, or we can get it repaired." I snatch Melody from off Waltz's shoulders. "I think there's two little girls that need their naps."

Melody: Whines and wails. "NO! NO NAP!"

Fugue: Shouting above the din of my unruly children. "We'll have your crown as good as new, then returned to you, Waltz-sama." I do a juggling act, managing to hold both squirming girls and grab the crown. "Come girls, naptime." I take the girls and the crown away.

Fugue: I set the girls down in their crib in our room. "Yes, Nap."

Melody: Laying on my side with my thumb in my mouth. "No... Nap..."

"No..." Harmony yawned. "Nap." She yawned again and then reached for her teddy.

Melody: Already asleep before I can protest any further.

Fugue: I smile at my girls, pulling their little blankets over them, tucking them in. I lean over and give each a kiss on the forehead, whispering. "Night, my little angels." I then sit down on my bedspread, taking out a little sewing kit to begin work on restoring Waltz's crown.

Toccata was on the bed reading. She looked up when she felt the bed move and watched Fugue with interest. "What happened to Waltz's crown?"

Fugue: "According to him, the kids had a tug o war with it. When I went to check on them and him, I found Harmony chewing on it. I took it away from her and set the girls down for a nap. I'm repairing the crown and going to shine it up like new for him." I burst into giggles. "It was hilarious. When I walked in, Waltz had Melody on his shoulders and was galloping around the room, like a horsey. It was all I could do to keep from laughing."

Fugue: "They had fun. I'm sure. Harmony was a little upset I took Waltz's crown away from her, and they staged their usual naptime protest, but they were good girls."

Fugue: Finishes repairing the crown. "Still, we're going to have to explain to them that Count Waltz's Crown is not a toy for them to play with." I start polishing the crown.
