(It's basically what you had Berion suggest but with the added bit about the guards only getting involved if they absolutely have to and that the citizens won't bother Bakura if he doesn't want to be bothered)

I read through the latter. "how are thou planning to ensure the citizens won't bother him? the way thou currently formulated it he is free to call the contract invalid as soon as somebody talks to him or runs into him."

"No. If he says "don't bother me" or "leave me alone" when someone walks up to talk to him that's when they should walk away. If they don't, then he has a right to complain. If someone bumps into him, that's different. Even so I'll tell them to be careful."

"I'm not promising anything but that they will walk away if he says "leave me alone" or anything similar. And even then, nowhere in this document does it outright say 'I promise'"

"I only asked you how you want to ensure this. let us assume someone talked to him. Bakura tells him to leave him alone. the other one keeps talking. The contract would be broken with the first word the person says, no matter what your guards do."

"I can't do anything about him killing someone in the forest. Especially if it's in his own home. As for the cemetery, I'd have the burden of proof. If there are no witnesses then he could be accused of anything. Look I already told you my final word on the matter. You don't know how he's going to react and neither do I. No one knows. The guards are not part of the "people will leave him alone" bit. At least not directly. If they need to get involved they will. Otherwise they won't go near him."

(You're assuming I'd have Bakura say the contract is broken...)

"My original decision, the one I wrote down on paper, does nothing of the sort. You're assuming he will say the contract is broken if someone continues to bother him after he's said he doesn't want to be bothered, just as I'm assuming he won't. In reality, neither of us know what he will do."

(Anyways, Kronus, I'm flexible. I was planning on having Fugue walk Berion through the haunted house, giving him tips along the way, before sending Berion through it, one last time, to conquer it, on his own. I got side tracked with other things, I'm sorry. I'm still willing to go through with that plan, if you are interested. If you want Berion to still in training, he would have the tin sword and shield he had when he escorted Zelda on their date. If you want Berion's training to be done, he would have his own gear back, proceeding as normal. Your choice, I'm flexible and can work with whatever you want to do. Training still going or training done.)

"I'm concerned about his wife as well. In fact I think she should have a say in the terms of Bakura's exile. I'm not going to put him under house arrest. I wasn't serious about that or the other thing I said. I'm trying to figure out the best solution. Your solution allows for anyone, even a guard to start harassing him and when he says to stop they can say that don't have to stop. And if they start beating him up he can't fight back unless there are no guards around."

(I would have loved to have Berion trained, but now I would rather play him as the strong knight whom I originally planned. in other words the training is over. however, he and Fugue are still training together, but not the funhouse any more. just stuff like jogging together. and I would say over the training time they became close friends)
