I know how to get the link to a picture. I tried it with (img)link(/img), but it won't show up. I tried (url)link(/url) but instead of going to the picture, it redirects you to the webside where the picture is from.

edit: what did you fix?

Of course. Because you used url tags not img tags

Either way I fixed it.

Ebil. listen closely:
I know how to post a picture. I know how to get a link to a picture. I know the difference between url and img.
I first used img. then it would show a picture. but it doesn't. it shows nothing. then I used url to show the link, but that link doesn't work, because it won't take you to the picture, but to the side where the picture is from. yes, I used the link to the picture, thank you very much. I just can't post pictures her because img doesn't work and url doesn't lead to the picture, but the link redirects you somewhere else.
to repeat my question: what did you fix?

I think I know what Ebil tried to do. I explained it in my edit. I've had that happen with other pictures on other sites. TAS and etc. I'm not entirely sure that forumotion was responsible for that pic not showing up.

What I suggest is saving the pic to your computer and putting it up on photobucket and then do it that way

You know what I fixed? I made the image show up. It was broken before because you used the link on the page the picture was on instead of opening the image in a new tab.

It's like if you use this link between img tags http://taelifly.deviantart.com/art/Ygotas-Haiku-Legend-420027913

The first one directs to the DA page where the picture is on. The second one is the picture only.

I was just explaining what I did and what I was talking about.

It's not forumotion's fault the pic was broken. You just have to find another method of posting it, that's all.

Also why are you so surprised that url tags showed a link instead of a picture?

I am not surprised tat url tags show a link instead of a picture. I wanted to show you the link, because the picture wouldn't show up.

Yeah the image is broken for me as well.

It might just be the site you're getting the image from. I somehow managed to fix it. Not sure how but the picture showed up when I got done messing with the post.

Save it and upload it to an image hosting site like photobucket. Then use the direct link in the box on the side of the image.

It's probably not loading properly. I don't know.

I can see the second time you posted it on this page.

On the old forum I posted that Chibitalia pic from my kindle.

I could see it but gcar said it was broken. So when I got on my computer again I found the picture, saved it to my computer and uploaded it to photobucket and changed the link and it showed up.
