Waltz looked at his map. "We should head for the next city, right. That's--" he was suddenly interrupted by a commotion nearby. "Hm? I wonder what's going on over there."

(Sorry if I don't know some things. It has been quite a while since i played diamond/pearl/platinum ^^; )

Alice: Yeah, that would be the best thing to do. -when she hears it, she looks over in that direction- Should we check it out?

"Yeah. Sounds like someone is in trouble."

(I have a walk through guide book but I gotta remember where I put it)

(I found an online walkthrough following the video game line.)

Alice: -she nods- Let's go. -and she heads off in that direction to see what's up-

(Hearthome then Veilstone. So maybe you control Maylene and Waltz's Lucario and I control Waltz and Maylene's Lucario. Or something. We can just skip to that point in the battle)

Waltz looked around the corner of a building and saw guys in space suits stealing a little girl's Pokemon and rambling whatever nonsense Team Galactic rambles in the game.

Waltz frowned. "I cannot abide thievery. In Forte, thieves are thrown in the dungeon. Luckily for those space freaks, we're not in Forte. But that doesn't mean we can't do something." He looked at Alice. "Who are they anyway?"

(Okay, sure c: )

Alice: -while he spoke, she was pretty much frozen in place. they were just grunts, but even they were enough to scare her. just maybe, maybe they were newer, younger grunts that didn't know about her...- Y-yeah... -she looks back at him- They... they're members of team galactic... -frowns- Can I stay away from the fight though, please? They were the ones who made me...

Waltz nodded. "I understand." He looked at the two grunts again. "Fenniken, Lucario, let's go."

Fenniken jumped down from Waltz's shoulder, where she had been sitting since they left the Old Chateau. "Fen!"

Alice: -she nods back- Okay, thanks... I'll go back to the pokemon center just to be safe. -with that, she starts going on back to the pokemon center-

Lucario: -he nods- Yes, Waltz.

(I'm fine with any kinda grunts seeing her going into the center or whatever. If you even want one to detain her, then that's fine by me too. If not, that it's okay! I guess we can say that the grunts were told about her at some point just to be sure. If you specify any grunt seeing her, then you can simply have them call in to the admin in the eterna hq and the admin will report it to the boss and/or head of the genetic modification and experimentation. If you want the grunt to try and get her, it may not end out well cx So I guess a sighting report would be good enough. And just to give alice some more time, we can say that they don't have the necessary equipment/people on that side of the mountain to get her. If you wanna do that, sweet! If not, I can do that c: )

Alice: -and soon enough she's back inside of the pokemon center!

Lucario: -he prepares for battle-

-meanwhile, in the distance away from the commotion, is another grunt...-

Grunt: -he saw the two come out and then saw the girl go back to the center. she seemed familiar, but just what...? oh, wait! right! she was that one girl the organization was after! thank goodness he remembered what she looked like, seeing as he was only told how she looked since he never really saw her. the next moment he goes down an alley and calls in to report his sighting to the eterna hq, which then sends over the information to the main veilstone hq-

Waltz walked over to the two grunts. "Picking on a little girl?" He shook his head. "How uncivilized. Of course you are thieves. I shouldn't be surprised. Where I come from, thieves are severely punished. I suggest you give back the Pokemon you stole if you know what's good for you."

One of the grunts looked up. "Who are you to tell us what to do? We don't have to listen to you."

"Oh?" Waltz raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah!" The other grunt added. He turned to his partner. "Let's show him he's not the boss of us." The two sent out their Pokemon.

Waltz rolled his eyes. "Lucario, use bone rush. And Fenniken you use Psychic."

(Whichever one Lucario battles, Fenniken will battle the other)

Lucario: -he nods and decides to attack the first grunt's pokemon with bone rush-

Fenniken went after the second one. The two grunts fought back but they were no match. They picked up their injured Pokemon and fled.

Waltz shrugged and looked around. The little girl's Pokemon was in a cage. "Hey, Lucario do you think you can break this open without harming the Pokemon inside?" He studied the cage. "Maybe I should get Froslass to freeze the lock so it'll break easier..."

Lucario: -he examines the cage- Yeah, freezing the lock might help...

"I'll go get Froslass then. Be right back." Waltz went back to the Pokemon Center to get Froslass, then had her freeze the lock. "Think you can break it now?"

Lucario: -he nods- Yeah. -with that, he summons up a bone with bone rush and brings it down on the lock, breaking it-

Waltz opened the door of the cage and tried to coax the scared Pokemon, a Pachirisu, out with a berry. "I'm not going to hurt you." He looked at Fenniken. "You want to help, Fenniken?"

"Fenniken!" Fenniken walked into the cage and licked the Pachirisu on the cheek. "Fen Fenniken Fen Fen! Fenniken Fen!" She nudged the Pachirisu gently with her nose but it wouldn't budge.

Waltz looked around for the little girl. Seeing her he went over to her and crouched down to her level. "The two people who took your Pachrisu are gone now. I battled them and chased them off."

The little girl looked up at him. "Really?!" She looked and saw that he was right. "Thank you mister! I can get her out of that cage. She's shy and only trusts me."

Waltz and the little girl walked back over. The girl stared up in awe at Lucario. "Woah! Cool! I've always wanted to see a Lucario up close but I'm not old enough to battle the Gym Leader in Veilstone City, where I'm from. I'm just visiting my grandparents here. Anyway the gym leader's name in Veilstone is Maylene. She has a Lucario too. I've seen her on TV. But yours isn't the same color as hers. Why is that?"

"My Lucario is a shiny. They're rare." Waltz explained.

"What Pokemon is that one?" The little girl pointed at Fenniken. "I've never seen it before."

"She's a Fenniken. All the way from the Kalos region."

"You've been there? Cool!"

"I've been to every region. But I've been too busy to challenge the Pokemon leagues until now." Waltz showed her his two badges.

"Cool!" The little girl got her Pachirisu out of the cage and then looked up at him. "Mister you should stay for supper. You helped me out so I want to thank you."

Waltz nodded. "Well let's go see if my friend is okay with it first. She's waiting inside the Pokemon Center."

"Okay! My name is Tiffany by the way. What's yours?"

"Waltz. It's Waltz." Waltz replied. He heAded to the Pokemon center, Tiffany walking beside him and Fenniken on his shoulder again. "C'mon Lucario"

(I wanna say Tiffany is a year older than Bonnie)

Lucario: -he smiles some as she goes on, but huh. a gym leader that uses lucario. that would be an interesting fight! when called to go with, he nods and follows them-

Alice: -as for her, she got herself settled in the waiting area and is now reading a magazine-

Waltz spotted Alice and walked over to her. "Alice, this is Tiffany, the little girl who got her Pokemon stolen. Tiffany, this is my friend Alice."

"Hello!" Tiffany held out her hand for Alice to shake.

"She wants us to stay for dinner but I wanted to see if you were okay with it first." He looked at Tiffany. "What about your grandparents? Shouldn't you ask them if it's okay to invite guests over?"

"Well once I tell them that you saved Pachirisu they'll. insist that you say. They say it's the polite thing to do."

Alice: -when they come over, she looks up from her magazine and smiles- From what I see, everything must've went well, hm? -when tiffany offers her hand for her to shake, she frowns just a little bit. she didn't know how the girl would react to seeing someone like her... trying to push any small fears aside, she tries shaking the other girl's hand with hers- Well, if it's really alright... Then yeah, I'd like to come.

Tiffany tilted her head to one side in silent curiosity at seeing Alice's hand but she said nothing about it. "I'm gonna go call my grandparents and let them know. Be right back." She ran over to one of the video phone things.

"I guess she didn't want to be rude by asking. But she didn't seem frightened." Waltz said.

Alice: -she nods- Okay... -she looks back up at Waltz- I guess so, but... I wonder why she isn't. I'm sure more people than those in Canalave know about the pokemon darkrai...

Waltz shrugged. "Perhaps. Though considering how young she is, she probably doesn't know yet."
