Then there's the time when your teacher is basically a mathematical genius and no matter how many times he explains how to do a problem it still goes over your head because he explains it in a way that your brain can't process.

They should post teacher evals so students know what they're getting into before paying.
If an eval says this guys a complete moron, don't take his class.

Can't do his job, get rid of him and put someone in his place that can do his job.

It's what we do in the US.
Although if the teachers been in his job for awhile, he's granted something called tenure. That makes it much harder to fire him.
I've gotten a teacher fired before. A special education teacher. (Special Education is where the children with disabilities are taught) The teacher was abusing the students in the class. I told my parents about it, my parents contacted the school board and principal, and the teacher got fired. On her last day in the class, she made a big speech, ranting at me and the class, claiming I was lying with everything that I told my parents about her, basically blaming me for her getting fired.
I've never felt pity for that teacher or guilt for her getting fired.
Take away school lunches, locking children in closets, and physically abusing disabled children... that chick is lucky she didn't go to prison.

I think what she did is something different than being not an expert when it comes to explaining.

Then there are teachers who are biased and don't grade on effort.

huh? we don't get grades for this, we only gain experience.

So you don't get grades on like tests in, like, math or history?

We have tests and we get grades on tests. but only on tests, not on homework or how well we work during class.
